At approximately 10am Central Time on November 3rd, we identified an issue that occurred with daily processing for a subset of incoming transactions to the Dwolla platform. This issue caused downstream effects for a subset of user transactions that includes: possible delays in the delivery of funds to receiving bank accounts, missed API transfer status updates, and failed delivery of webhook events related to these impacted funds transfers.
The transactions that were impacted by this incident failed to update their status properly from pending to a resulting processed or failed. In addition to errors in the API transfer status update process, webhook events were not created and delivered for these transactions. At this time, these impacted transfers may not properly reflect the accurate status of the transaction. We are actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
